….Susan Procter Perin, an “Air Force brat”was born and raised in her native England and also in Yemen. Her father was her first art teacher. She continued her art and music studies after his early death in a flying accident. At seventeen she immigrated to the United States of America with her American step-father. Following graduation from Parsons school of Design, she worked to pay for university studies in American History and Government, and to fund her own interior design firm. Marriage to a “corporate “husband with many moves precluded working in design. She was encouraged to paint professionally by Jeffrey Lunge, a well known Western water colorist. After over forty moves and much travel she has settled in Sun Valley, ID.
